We used these on a recent trip to the coast and spend time in our hotel room watching the ocean for whales and checking out the goodies in the ocean. This is a good set of binoculars. They work and are compact in size. I like the focus knob. it is easy to find while using the binoculars and allows you to easily change the focus to objects that are close or far away. Also. each eye piece can be modified independently to get these binoculars really tuned for you. I did find that occasionally I struggled to find the right place to hold the binoculars so that both eyes were able to look clearly through the lenses without seeing black circles. But with a bit of practise I was able to overcome this issue. Overall the binoculars work well. feel like they are well built and strong and are pretty small and light to boot. A good product.
